“ I used to come and do chain of prayer and cry out to God and say : ‘ God , I don ’ t live anywhere , and my baby father passed away ’, and I still keep on coming .”
Dianna ’ s faith kept her going . She cried out to God when she was in dire need of His help ; she believed that He could change her life , so she kept on pushing . And of course , her trust in God paid off , as He blessed her in abundance . The day after she received her papers , her baby was born : “ God really opened doors for me .”
Dianna proves that conviction , sacrifice and perseverance are the recipe for success . “ When I found this church , I love it , so I keep on coming . I bring a lot of friends here , but they lose their faith in God , but I still carry on and come same way , because I see God in this place . I see the living God here , so I keep on carry on and don ’ t care what no one want to say .” Dianna tells us that at the UCKG she found something she had never come across before : the chance to learn . Whether it was how to read and understand the Bible or how to use her faith , she was introduced to a way of life that saved her and gave her the strength to fight and never give up .
“ It is usually when you ’ re about to give up , that the blessing will come ”. When in faith , one must always believe in the power of God . It is important that we trust in His plan , and also understand that we cannot sit idle and expect things to fall into place without taking any action . Reflecting on this , Dianna leaves us with a piece of advice : “ Don ’ t give up , no matter how hard it is .”
