It’s hard to believe that pain has
a purpose when you are going
through it. The difficulty of
grasping the purpose in the
pain is usually due to the pain
feeling insurmountable during
the process. When it appears
there is no relief in sight,
nothing seems to console you.
However, I assure you, God will
see you through. If there is a
GOD mantle on your life of any
sort, expect the pain. The pain is
a part of the process. The pain
comes to teach, strengthen and
pay you. Yes, pay you! In the
finance world, we called this
Return on Investment (ROI). I’ve
had a series of attempted
sabotage, betrayal, witchcraft
attacks, financial setbacks, major
health issues, YOU NAME IT!!
I’m sharing this article with you
because I lived to tell the story.
When the attacks sought to
outlive me. It was definitely the
adversary’s plan to wipe me out,
but he did not have permission
to kill me nor does he have
permission to kill you.

You may be feeling like the trials
in your life are the end of your
story, such as Naomi felt as we
see in Ruth 1:20; “Don’t call me
Naomi,” she responded. “Instead,
call me Mara, for the Almighty,
has made life very bitter for me.”
What I like about Naomi is while
she felt this was a “period”
behind her story and not a
“comma”, she returned to where
she heard God was. She went
home because she heard the
Lord had blessed His people in
Judah (Ruth 1:6). This was
powerful because even in her
bitter-hurt place, she returned to
where God favors. God favors us
in our obedience to Him.
This is why it’s imperative not to
allow the journey to make you
give up on God. Hold on, HE is
about to pay you. The scriptures
show that after Naomi and her
daughter- in- law, Ruth, settled
where God was favoring
(obedience), they were redeemed
by a close relative named Boaz
(known as a kinsman-redeemer).
You know the story...Once it was
all said and done, Naomi’s
obedience in the midst of her
pain not only positioned her
daughter-in-law to marry one of
the wealthiest men of their time,
additionally, it made them and
their lineage famous. Look for
yourself, it is written…. “Then the
women of the town said to
Naomi, “Praise the Lord, who has
now provided a redeemer for
your family! May this child be
famous in Israel. May he restore
your youth and care for you in
your old age. For he is the son of
your daughter-in-law who loves
you and has been better to you
than seven sons” (Ruth 4:14-15).
If you are reading
this, get ready! God is not only
going to restore you but HE is
also going to pay you! I believe
your pain is about to make you
famous!
Blessings,
Shawnte
