are unsure of which direction
things may go, but you can
trust that the all-knowing God
knows what He is doing.
Disruptions are good. They
bring us out of our comfort
zones. They break routines and
traditions, and challenge us to
operate, think and maneuver in
higher ways. After all, we
cannot enter into new seasons
with last season thinking and
ways. God also uses disruptions
to destroy the structure of some
things. It’s amazing the things
we have come to lean on, trust
in, and find comfort in until
they are removed or destroyed.
Disruptions come to destroy
idols and other gods that we
have placed before Him. The
next time you receive
unexpected news, or when
things around you seem to be
unraveling, welcome the
change. A life interrupted by
God’s will is a much better life
than a life undisturbed by our
own will. Don’t cringe, be
anxious, or afraid. It means

that a fresh move of God is near,
and things are shifting even in the
midst of what appears to be chaos
and disorder. Trust Him. We
serve a God who is purposeful,
who uses all things and situations
for our good according to His
purpose. Amen.
