the right ways as directed by
God. Paul was such a leader in
biblical passages, especially in
the Book of Colossians: Chapter
1, Verses 9-11 ~
Paul prayed, 9”For this reason,
since the day we heard about
you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask
God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the
wisdom and understanding that
the Spirit gives, 10 so that you
may live a life worthy of the Lord
and please him in every way:
bearing fruit in every good work,
growing in the knowledge of
God, 11 being strengthened with
all power according to his glorious might so that you may have
great endurance and patience.”
With negativity against each
other, against other sexes, and
against other races, we must not
lose heart in the word of God. In
the Book of Jeremiah: Chapter
17, Verse 9 ~
“The heart is deceitful above all
things and desperately wicked:
who can know it?”
We must remember to pray
for God’s will to be done. God
knows the heart is deceitful and
only he knows how our heart
feels. We must face the negativity in our lives and communities
with patience as we wait for the
Lord to give us a heart and spirit.
In the Book of Ezekiel: Chapter
11, Verses 19-20 ~
“And I will give them one heart,
and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony
heart out of their flesh, and will
give them an heart of flesh: That
they may walk in my statutes,
and keep my ordinances, and
do them: and they shall be my
people, and I will be their God.”
