Children see their dads bully
their mom into submission to get
his way then see their dads bully them in the exact same way
and we wonder why we have so
many child bullies? They are just
copying their parents.
Being bullied at home does one
of three things. They either become the bully or they become
vulnerable to a bully. When you
break down that child at home,
some kids become susceptible
to the bullies at school because
this is all they know. A third thing
that can happen and this is especially true for girls is they start
looking for that father-figure at
school and end up sleeping with
any boy that gives them attention. The attention they are getting at home is negative so when
a boy gives them negative attention, it doesn’t matter to them because their self-worth is so low
from their home environment.
How do we stop this though?
We need to have more training
for parents on what to watch for
in their kids and more training
on how to parent in a positive
way. We need men and women
to come together in marriage to
show their kids what a marriage
is supposed to look like. We
need husbands to show love to
their wives the way Christ loved
the church:
(Ephesians 5:21-33) “Submit to
one another out of reverence for
Christ. Wives, submit yourselves
to your own husbands as you do
to the Lord. For the husband is
the head of the wife as Christ is
the head of the church, his body,
of which he is the Savior. Now
as the church submits to Christ,
so also wives should submit to
their husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just
as Christ loved the church and
gave himself up for her to make
her holy,cleansing[a] her by the
washing with water through the
word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other
blemish, but holy and blameless.
28 In this same way, husbands
ought to love their wives as their
own bodies. He who loves his
wife loves himself. After all, no
one ever hated their own body,
but they feed and care for their
body, just as Christ does the
church— for we are members of
his body. “For this reason a man
will leave his father and mother
and be united to his wife, and the
two will become one flesh.”[b]
This is a profound mystery—but
I am talking about Christ and the
church. However, each one of
you also must love his wife as he
loves himself, and the wife must
respect her husband.”
in God’s word and he can look to
our example, he will have a better chance at becoming the man
that God wants him to become.
