Reading Wise Guys and other
information about Manhood
Journey and Kent Evans, I was
curious how he got started. He
explained: “It’s an interesting
story. There was a guy at our
church who looked around and
said
‘Hey
we
got
stuff for men
and stuff for boys, but we don’t
have anything that puts guys
and their sons together. What
you guys think about that?’ And
there were a dozen volunteers
who said ‘yeah that’s interesting. Let’s go take a look.’ We
went into this room and sat down
at a whiteboard. We said, what
we do here if we want to engage
fathers and sons? And a few
ideas came out of that. Advance
