encourage them to be where they are. They will more like Christ, in spite of listen. Offer Combined Solutions, not one size fits all Today, we see many a politician come up with a new law, rule or program that will assist a certain group of people, be it the retired elderly, or, new business owners. We also see today’s pastors come up with antidotes like new books, messages or corporate prayer sessions where we tackle spiritual needs. However the biggest most icky problems are never in just one category. Rather, the biggest, messiest of messes tends to be an overlap between many problems. The average person doesn’t just have a financial problem, or, a spiritual problem. They tend to have multiple problems that are interconnected. That is why the church must begin to offer combined solutions that tackle more than just one. Jesus said it this way, “That which is spirit is spirit. That which is flesh is flesh” [John 3:6]. Our LORD and savior noticed that there are different categories of issues that must be addressed with different things.
