t is difficult for me to
determine which book of
the Bible is my favorite.
You may ask why, and well,
whatever book that I am currently
reading or studying seems
to become my preference. I
suppose, however, that Paul’s
letter to the Philippians
stands out in my mind. It
is upbeat – positive and
practical. The word “joy”
and its various cognates
are found at least 16
times in the short
epistle.
