journaling bible I never
intended for it to turn into a
business. We started a
facebook group in August of
2014 and that really started a
wildfire in our community. For
the first time we were able to
gather in one place and share
what this form of worship is
doing in our life.
I was asked to be on a panel at
the Influence Conference in
September of 2104 and it was
at that conference that so
many people were asking
about this community and
movement and asking my
questions like "are you working
it full time yet" and "what is
your business structure".
It was in those moments with
owners
of
other
small
Christian companies that I
knew I had to think about those
things. Is this a business? Do I
want it to be? Is that what He
intends?
I realized that even though I
didn't set out to start a
business, there were needs in
our community that I wanted
to address and I knew I had the
passion to do so, and on
September 28th Illustrated Faith
was announced.
Since then so many exciting
things have happened, things I
would have never have dreamed
of which makes it so clear to me
how much God is behind all of
this!
