Tutorial - Cards
For these cards I have used 200gr
watercolor paper from Canson which
I have cut down to A6 format (5.83 x
4.13 inches). The color blocks from
Derwent that I have used is water soluble but become permanent once dry,
these go by the name Inktense but it
works just as well with ordinary water
colors. I do like to paint with water
brushes, they are like thin water bottles filled with water and have a brush
in the end, squeezing the bottle gently
produces the small amount of water
needed to paint.
I have used a block made of acrylic
that I have painted on, to transfer the
color to the paper, use the block as
a stamp, be careful so that you don’t
get the colors to wet to keep it from
dripping all over the place.
