In terms of gender, our current workforce is made up of 76% female staff, Senior
Management consists of 52.2% females, and the Board 33% female members, a slight
decrease from 40% women board members pre April 2016.

There has been a slight increase in people from BAME backgrounds post April 2016 from 7.4% to 9%, within Senior
Management roles, and also an increase on the Board from 26.6% to. The workforce figure for people from BAME
backgrounds has also increased from 20% to 22.6%.
A review of our Board members’ profiles shows that since April 2016 the number of BAME
Board members has risen from 26.6.% to 33.3%, the number of BAME Senior Management
staff has risen from 7.4% to 9% and the number of BAME employees has increased from
20% to 22.6% post April 2016.
