1) ACADEMICS As the term draws to an end, we are busy completing our academic 1st Term programme and all the other activities that fall in between. We can be proud of our achievements so far this year. Our academic awards, athletics, a good term for our 1st Team and U14A cricketers, summer league hockey, swimming, and the highly entertaining Mr and Miss FHS pageant. We have an exciting sporting activity this weekend with the Brackenfell Sports Event happening on Friday and Saturday of this week. We invite you to attend these sporting activities. Please be reminded of the Grades 9 - 12 English and Afrikaans Papers 3 that will be written on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Some important tests and exams still remain to be completed and we ask all pupils to keep focused until the term ends. PARENT CONSULTATIVE EVENINGS Please be aware of the opportunity that parents have to consult with the teachers of their children in the second week of next term and we strongly urge parents to make bookings for these evenings as soon as possible..  Grades 8 – 9 Monday, 20 April  Grades 10 – 12 Tuesday, 21 April Details and a booking form will be enclosed with the first term report. We hope that our Grade 8’s have by now settled into their new school and that they, like the rest of our school, are looking forward to the winter terms. Next term is our examination term where all grades will write their mid-year examinations. Parents may access the exam timetable on our website. Of note is the number of teaching days that our Matrics have until they leave to write their Finals. The table below indicates that there are just 77 teaching days remaining and that our Grade 12’s will be wise to start the new term in earnest to prepare for the three major approaching exams.
