How many college games are being broadcasted & streamed?

This year is the most heavily broadcasted and streamed exposure the game of lacrosse has ever had regarding being able to view live games. ESPN renewed their contract with college lacrosse so most high profile games will be broadcasted there, but if you’re a fan of a mid major you can see them as well through the age of modern technology. SYRACUSE

The most watched college lacrosse game

The 2007 NCAA championship game between John’s Hopkins and Duke drew 855,089 viewers. It was also the most highly attended Division 1 championship weekend in lacrosse history, it drew over 100,000 fans. The Blue Jays led by Paul Rabil Defeated the Blue Devils 12-11, who were seeking redemption after false rape accusations derailing their 2006 season

WHAT SCHOOL HAS THE MOST TEWAARATON WINNERS

The Tewaaraton Award is the Heisman Trophy of college lacrosse and it’s only been in existence since 2001. It’s a tie, Virginia has 3 and Syracuse has 3, but the only school to have back to back winners is Albany when Lyle Thompson won it in the 2014 & 2015 season.

Most attended scrimmage

2,571 fans showed up to watch the newly minted National Champion Denver Pioneers take on the John’s Hopkins Blue Jays at Peter Barton Stadium January 30th this year.
