Jimmy Borell, in the Factory world, is surrounded by youth boys and young men on a daily basis. What you may not know is that off the field, Jimmy Borell’s life is consists of balancing the lives of mainly all females. I have two sisters and about ten girlfriends in the South Bay area who are in and out of the Borell Household on a daily basis.
Even our dog, Bella Borell, is a female. There was a point in our lives when Jimmy lived with me, three of my college girlfriends and a female dog. That is four ladies and a Bella all under one roof with Jimmy.
To be honest though, he secretly loved living with each and every one of the girlfriends and he embraced living with them by giving out awards like “roommate of the week” for such things as cleaning out the dishwasher or taking out the trash. He always knows how to make things fun! Those times have passed and even though my girlfriends may not live with us they all have a key and they still spend lots of time at the house.
Jimmy a lot of times will come home to five of us in the living room all around the TV watching a chick flick or some reality show. My sisters and friends all look to Jimmy as their brother and they love him dearly. They even sometimes reach out to him for boyfriend advice. I don’t want to make Jimmy sound like too much of a softy but it’s really neat to see how he is a role model to so many young boys and then off the field he is also considered a role model to my sisters and friends. He’s a good one! I caught myself a keeper!
