Voters in Anoka-Hennepin communities will have the opportunity to weigh in on three questions on the ballot , Nov . 2 , considering a renewal of two levies for learning and investing in support for all students . The funding would be directed to provide success , stability and support for every student .

CONTINGENT UPON APPROVAL OF QUESTION 1
Operating levy - support for every student , responding to community priorities
Funding used to extend one-time federal funding for support added during the pandemic .
• Improve mental health and social emotional support at every school , for every student .
• Maintain support services and programs added by one-time federal funding that will expire in 2023 in response to the pandemic .
• Provide additional academic support for underachieving students .
$ 11 million annual funding .
LEVIES FOR LEARNING
Questions 1 and 2 ask voters to renew past operating and capital projects levies for learning to maintain the services , programs and resources provided in Anoka- Hennepin Schools . If voters approve renewing the questions , there would be no tax impact .
Approval of questions 1 and 2 ensures stability in school district programming for ten years .
SUPPORT FOR ALL STUDENTS
Question 3 can only pass if voters also approve Question 1 . Anoka-Hennepin will receive onetime federal funding to provide additional support for students in response to the pandemic .
If Question 3 is approved , the district will have the funding necessary to provide additional social emotional and mental health resources and additional academic interventions to support students performing below grade level into the next ten years .
