In October 2016 , Karndean introduced LooseLay Longboard , comprised of 12 new wood looks whose longer planks lead to an even faster installation and less disruption for your family . The designs in the LooseLay Longboard collection are inspired by native Australian species , oaks from Europe , and heart pine from the United States . Each of these designs displays the intricate details found in the woods that inspired the collection . by a premium 5G vertical click locking mechanism that is fast and easy to install . Its innovative , proprietary K-Core is 100 % PVC to ensure a stronger , more stable core that can easily be scored and snapped . This layer provides unparalleled dimensional stability for installation over imperfect subfloors and over most existing hard floor coverings . Its attached underlayment makes Korlok Karndean ’ s most acoustically friendly product to date and is well suited for any environment where you ’ re looking to reduce noise transfer to rooms below . The collection includes 12 new colorways in a 56 " × 9 " format .
