Satin Weave
Fabric in this category is characterised by a
smooth and frequently lustrous surface. There
is a distinct difference between the right and
reverse sides because either the warp yarns or
the weft yarns form the wearing surface. Satin
items are very flexible and allow for a closer
weave than with fabrics of other constructions.
