I'm Krista Nicole (Burrell if you're also interested in my father's last name haha). I'm 33 years young and believe the best of me is yet to come. I was born in Oklahoma, but I've lived all over and love to travel, especially to new places! I started modeling about 7 years ago as an outlet to deal with my anxiety and have been able to enjoy so many fun experiences, meet so many beautiful people (both inside and out) and be part of some really amazing Charity projects along the way.
I've shot with over 30 photographers, done a lot of promo work, commercial print work, promo modeling, and have walked the runway in 16 fashion shows which is probably my most favorite thing I get to do in my model life! I love to be part of experiences that affect change, so I take any opportunity I have to be part of charity projects and events. One of the biggest ones I participate in is Operation Rock the Troops which travels all over and performs for our US troops-giving back through the power of music, education, and entertainment. My dad was in the Navy during the Vietnam War and suffers from PTSD, so being part of that charity has been very special and rewarding for me.
I have an 11 year young son (yikes!) and the kid is almost taller than me (I'm 5'6")! My favorite thing we do is go to the gym together because it helps me stay in shape, allows us a ton of bonding time, and helps lil dude get all the ladies (but hopefully just from afar).
I'm direct, brutally honest, and can be intimidating (I'm just confident, not mean), but I'm also sincere, thoughtful, and love hard. I love shopping (is that a surprise?), photography, my dog Isabelle (she's the cutest little maltese shih tzu), music (all kinds but not heavy metal or opera so sorry if you like those), being in love (awww, yes I'm a romantic), and laughing (I'm a sucker for humor hahaha). I went to school for Interior Design (this makes sense right since I'm into Fashion?), have a degree in Public Relations (because the maintenance of public image is important duh), a career in Process Engineering (omg that sounds boring right lol?), and my guilty pleasure is that I still watch Teen Mom...(gulp- do not judge me please) and I still listen to Britney Spears (but she's hot again though right?)...
My favorite quote? "It's never too late to start living the life you imagined" - have no idea who that is by but (sigh) I love it. I've learned over the years to embrace my flaws (cause yes I have just as many as anyone else) and truly make an effort to find the beauty in everything and everyone (except killers and a few other kinds of people that are bad- no wait they were good too probably at some point), because like my IG page says..."To be Flawed is to be Beautiful".
