“ First and foremost my mother, as cliché as it sounds it’s the realeast thing I ever wrote. She molded me into the person I am today and I could not have asked for a better angel to be blessed with “ craft in the beginning? What got you first interested in your industry? I’ve been interested in music since before I can remember. In my youth, my mother and father were heavily involved in Chicago’s hip hop scene as well as my father’s father being apart of an original Chicago based punk rock band called My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. I mostly listened to what my mother played; Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Eric B. and Rakim, Billie Holiday, Sade…you name it.
