Ice Painting Add water and paint to ice cube trays or any containers you want to use to freeze your ice. Add sticks to the containers to freeze into the ice, this prevents ice burn or little hands getting too cold. The intensity of the colour can be varied depending on the amount of paint or water you add to your trays. More water creates more of a water colour (pastel shades), whilst more paint can give you bolder, more intense colours Car Wash Set up a car wash outside. Muddy up the bikes and cars and provide children with buckets of water, sponges, cloths etc. This could also be done on a small scale by dirtying up the miniature cars for a small world car wash activity. Children will love to clean up whilst keeping cool at the same time.
