Physical Activity Ideas for 3 – 5’s: Clear the beanbags What you need: Different coloured bean bags and tape to make a line across the soft play area What to do: • Place the tape across the floor in the indoor area • Scatter the bean bags (an even number on each side) around the area • Split the children into two groups and ask them to sit on either side of the tape • Explain to the children that when the game begins they need to stay on their side of the tape • Explain that when the game begins they need to throw the beanbags on their side of the tape over to the other side of the tape • A child can only throw one bean bag at a time • The group with the least number of bean bags left on their side at the end of the game are the winners
