SynergEyes launches Tangible
Hydra-PEG coating in Canada
SynergEyes, Inc., the worldwide leader
in hybrid contact lens technology, has
announced that the Tangible Hydra-PEG
coating is now available in Canada.
The lubricious “breakthrough polymer
coating,” developed by Tangible Science,
was launched in the United States
last year.
Due to the positive response to the
coating, Canadian practitioners and
patients can now also experience the
benefits of Tangible Hydra-PEG on
both Duette and UltraHealth
hybrid lenses.
During a pre-launch program in the
United States, 17 optometrists fit 141
patients with Duette and Duette
Progressive with Tangible Hydra-PEG,
with patients and doctors citing great
optics and all-day comfort, says Syn-
ergEyes, the only advanced-technology
contact lens company focused exclu-
sively on the leading independent eye
care professionals.
Ninety per cent of Duette wearers
described Duette with Tangible
Hydra-PEG as comfortable, with the
majority reporting comfortable wear
for over 13 hours per day.
Since 2017, eye care professionals
across the United States have been
successfully prescribing Duette and
UltraHealth with Tangible Hydra-PEG
for their astigmatic, presbyopic and
irregular cornea patients. Practitioners
