What is the treatment for Diabetic
Retinopathy?
Laser Eye Surgery can close or shrink the new and
abnormal blood vessel that can leak the blood into the
eye and cause vision loss. It can also slow or stop the
fluid leakage from the retinal vessels that may lead to
vision loss.
Newer treatments include injections of drugs into the
eye to prevent leakage and this often leads to
improvement of vision.
