Eye Candy Evolution with Tia Jul. 2015 | Page 4

"Better late than never"... Welcome to issue one of Ghetto Logic Magazine presents ... Eye Candy Evolutiom! We started Ghetto Logic Magazine around this time last year. Eye Candy was actually a continuous thread within the magazine. A way for woman to showcase their ummm, attributes? We went with the self submission model ~ You send us photos... We like photos... We feature you in magazine! But with all things in life - "problems"! Lo resolution pics, no credit to photographers, bathroom selfies ( I so hate those ), and just bad quality pictures. Of course we had some awesome submissions and we have to tip our hats to those women who sent in quality material to grace our pages... But we needed to rethink what we were doing here! We had a great project and we needed to work out the kinks! It took a little while before I realized the thing that was right in front of my face the whole time... I am a photographer (duhhh)! The whole time that I am doing sessions, fashion shows and helping woman build their portfolios this little, whispering voice is in the back of my head is trying to tell me something... Fast forward a few months later... I have been ignoring the whispery voice in my head and focusing on my photography. While dating this woman that even though she is 'Eye Candy' in every sense of the word has a few insecurities and starts focusing on the project that honestly I have not really been even working on... Ghetto Logic Magazine. More specifically? Eye Candy Evolution! This is where the universe pushes one in the direction you need to be headed... Her consistent nagging and critiquing on the subject actually made me think about the magazine more and more! The whispery voice in my head got louder as well, and I actually began to understand what it was saying to me... "Shoot the pictures yourself stupid"! Kind of rude for an inner voice, but it actually made sense! So in all reality, one woman's insecurity has opened the door for the more ‘confident’ to showcase their sexiness. Ghetto Logic Magazine presents 'Eye Candy Evolution' is definitely a mature title. The focus is not on the nudity but more on the beauty of the female form, the artistic capture of the photographer and of course the confidence of the model. Another difference with 'Eye Candy'? Each issue will feature and be dedicated to one model. This is done to give them exposure in their careers and to insure they do not have to share an issue with another woman. Ohhh yeah! Almost forgot! We also got rid of the articles in Eye Candy Evolution... You basically came for the picture anyway right? Thanks for your support and looking forward to feeding you Candy for your Eyes next month! RED Editor in chief
