Exxpose: What makes you different from every other professional in this industry?
The Jones Sisters: We are a young and singing in four part harmony with perfect pitch.
Exxpose: Do you feel that it is necessary to promote yourself and to invest money into your career?
The Jones Sisters: Yes, you have to believe in yourself. Others may possess a liking to your talent but may not find
it unnecessary invest in your talent. What is important to you is not always important to someone else.
Octavia Denise Brashear’s was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She discovered her talent by singing in talent shows.
Although Octavia knew she wanted to pursue a singing career and write songs, her love for modeling had her torn between
the two. Throughout the 80′s, 90′s she performed at many nightclubs in the city of New Orleans, Which laid her to perform
and began lead singer for various groups. In 2004 Octavia was featured as a singing slave and a morning mammy in the
production, “The Motherland Before They Came,” which premiered at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre.
She also performed with her own Spirit Filled Karaoke Gospel Show which is very spiritual and uplifting. In 2002 Octavia
Denise and her group Five Star of Praise perform at the 2002 Jazz Heritage Fest in New Orleans, She was also a special
guest with the Reggie Hall Band at the Jazz Heritage Fest in 1994. And that performance laid her to sing in Sao Paulo,
Brazil at the Bourbon Street Nightclub for two weeks with the All Star Band.
She also graduated from the renowned John Casablanca Modeling and Career Agency. In the year of 1995 Octavia was
the winner of a Diana Ross look-a-like contest sponsored by Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans, La.
After her performance in Brazil it would be one of her last shows singing secular music. On July 29, 1995 Octavia accepted
the call and dedicated her life to follow Jesus Christ having faith in God.
Octavia is the owner of True Visions of Christ Records an Independent Label. She released her first EP in 2010 titled True
Visions, a song that she wrote. She is currently singing for various churches, weddings, banquets. Her high rang soprano
vocal would immediately put your mind on the spirit of God. She is truly anointed, gifted and blessed she sings from her
heart and soul, Octavia is nothing short of amazing! Let her be an inspiration to you and your event, and take it beyond
anything you could ever imagine!

The Jones Sisters: Our parents Genesa and Devin Jones have done the absolute most and are responsible for
where we are in our career today.
Exxpose: For the readers, explain how you title or define yourself in t he industry and why?
The Jones Sisters: We, The Jones Sisters are just an example of how God can use whoever He wants, whenever
He wants, and wherever He wants to use them.
Exxpose: What are some of the other talents you possess?
The Jones Sisters: Kiera plays the keyboard for the group.
Exxpose: Why music? Why now?
The Jones Sisters: Music is a part of our lives. Both sides of our family are musically inclined, both vocally and instrumentally.
Exxpose: What have you done to gain higher learning of the music industry as it relates to actually studies, seminars, conference or conventions?
The Jones Sisters: We have attended conferences for singers and musicians which has given us the opportunity to
gain knowledge from representatives of Berklee College of Music.f Music
Exxpose: Have you traveled throughout your music career? if so, where to? Where would you like to travel for upcoming targeted performances?
The Jones Sisters: We have traveled most of the east coast and southern states. Our goal is to travel the world.
