EXXPOSE: What is your career background and
where are you from?
NAPS: I’m from New Orleans La, I was raised in
one of the most high crime areas. Which is located in the palms of poverty. Low self esteem,
major shortage of positive role models. Poor
education, no belief of overcoming any situation that they were in. The only they knew was
survival.
EXXPOSE: Who or what inspired you?
NAPS: My father, for the things he didn’t do. The
community I come from. The struggle, I’ve endured as a kid. That’s what inspired me. A lot of
things that I couldn't say back then—I can sing it
now. This is where my true emotions come out,
in my music.
EXXPOSE: What is different abut your music?
NAPS: I make music to be legendary, not just for
the moment. My music is timeless.
EXXPOSE: What are some of the challenges you
face being CEO of Street Knowledge Entertainment?
NAPS: My availability to be present and on top
of things in a constant manner. The networking
and ground word is crucial. Things are changing
everyday and it’s important to keep up with
current trends.
EXXPOSE: What role would you like to play an a
record label?
NAPS: Give artists a chance to get their break.
To learn about contracts and get their foot wet to
learn about the thing that they ay not know about
in the industry. Being a voice for them.
EXXPOSE: What is your take on the need for contracts and paperwork as it relates to the entertainment
industry?
NAPS: Without contracts and paperwork there is no busy. That’s the way of the United States.
EXXPOSE: What goals do you have for Street
Knowledge Entertainment as a record label?
NAPS: I want my label to establish a big name.
