Antioxidant Power Smoothie
SERVES : 1-2 USE ORGANIC :
• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1 cup coconut water
• ½ avocado
• 1 banana
• 1 orange , peeled and segmented
• 1 cup frozen blueberries
• 1 handful spinach
• 1 Tbsp . Garden of Life Chia Seeds
• 1 scoop Garden of Life Dr . Formulated MD Fit Protein , Vanilla
• Dash of cinnamon
• 1 cup ice
TO MAKE SMOOTHIE : Place all ingredients into a blender ( in order of ingredients listed ) and blend until smooth . Enjoy !
Super Cookie Bars
MAKES : 12 COOKIE BARS USE ORGANIC :
• 2 cups raw cashews
• 1 scoop Garden of Life Dr . Formulated MD Protein Salmon , Vanilla Protein
• ½ cup coconut flour
• ¼ cup Swerve brown sugar
• ¼ cup Garden of Life Extra Virgin Coconut Oil , melted
• ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
• 2 Tbsp . almond butter
• ¼ tsp . sea salt
• 1 / 3 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
PREPARATION : Place cashews and salt into the food processor and process until they resemble a flour-like consistency . Add in Dr . Formulated MD Protein , Salmon & Vanilla , coconut flour , swerve brown sugar , almond butter , and coconut oil and pulse until well mixed . Pour in almond milk and process again until batter is moist . Hand mix in chocolate chips then press batter into an 8 ” x 8 ” brownie pan and refrigerate for several hours before cutting and serving .
On-The-Go Bites
MAKES : 16-18 COOKIE BALLS USE ORGANIC :
• 1 scoop Garden of Life Dr . Formulated MD Protein , Vanilla or Chocolate
• 2 cups unsalted cashews
• 1 Tbsp . Garden of Life Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
• 10 Medjool dates , pitted and soaked in water for about 20 minutes
• ¼ cup dried cranberries ( apple juice sweetened if available )
• ½ cup dried coconut flakes
• 1 tsp . cinnamon
PREPARATION : In a bowl , combine coconut flakes and cinnamon and set aside . Place protein powder and cashews in food processor using the “ s ” blade . Process until it is well mixed and resembles a flourlike consistency . Remove dates from water . Add dates and cranberries to mixture in food processor and pulse until everything begins to stick ( about 20 pulses ). Roll cookie balls and coat in coconut flake / cinnamon mixture . Refrigerate to harden the texture of the cookies . Cookies last 10-14 days in refrigerator or 2 months in freezer .
