a big part of [balance] for me. I also make
myself check out of my world—to take
digital breaks and find stillness to discover
meaningful moments,” Brooke says. For
the past two years, she has been guiding
the Brooke Burke Body Transformation
retreats. In them, she connects with like-
minded women and teaches them how
to transform their lives through health,
fitness and mindful wellness. “The work
has been life-changing for all of us,” she
acknowledges.
“Oh what a year,” she exclaims when
thinking back on the last few months.
Juggling so many projects at once would
have anybody else gasping for air, but not
Brooke. In fact, she keeps piling on. “I just
completed a breath work training course
so that I can incorporate that practice in
my retreats,” Brooke says. It doesn’t stop
there, “I’m getting my yoga certification...
I am constantly re-educating myself to the
process of raising for children and striving
to be a conscious connected parent.”
“Health and wellness is
a big part of [balance]
for me. I also make
myself check out of
my world—to take
digital breaks and find
stillness to discover
meaningful moments.”
Brooke admits this year has been different
for her. Even though she’s built a huge
community through her various work
endeavors, she’s still learning to find
significance in solitude. “This has been
a pivotal year for me redefining my life
as a single woman and understanding
the importance and value of solitude,”
she admits. A valuable lesson, just like
the countless others, she will no doubt
share with her tribe.
