SHEAR GENIUS EXECUTIVE Amanda faced personal and medical crises, Amie offered what she knew best – a shoulder to lean on and a makeover for her friend. “I started to lose my hair from an autoimmune disease I have, and the hair extensions Amie gave me were life-changing,” Amanda said. “It gave me back confidence. I was dealing with some family stuff and my health and it was wearing on me. The extensions made me feel pretty again and gave me confidence, sassiness and a part of me that had been lost in life.” The makeover came with sound advice between friends. “We talked a lot about building confidence in all areas, in life and business, and just hearing someone you trust tell you that you can do whatever you want helps set healthy boundaries,” explained Amanda. It was a two-way street for Amie, who added, “All that advice I gave just bounces back to me, and then I have to listen to my own words and apply it to my own life. We help each other.
