Support a local eatery.
Even if you’re not yet comfortable with dining
out inside – or outside – at an area restaurant,
you can still support our local foodie scene by
ordering to-go.
One of our newest favorites is Fresco Tea Bar in
New Albany. Light and airy, patrons are welcome
to pop in to place a to-go order or leisurely sip and
enjoy. Drinks include coffee, Sparkling Refreshers
– try the French Lavender Lemonade – and, of
course, a wide array of tea: Steeped Tea, Wellness
Tea, Tea Latte and the ever-interesting Bubble Tea,
a unique treat worth trying (Cotton Candy is our
must-try). If you’re hungry, Fresco has partnered
with several local businesses to provide bakery
items, grab and go lunches, breakfast burritos
and more. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian
and gluten-free selections, too.
Pick, plan and complete a project.
Home improvement seems to be on the minds
of many consumers these days. Use this long
weekend to finally tackle that room you know
could use some sprucing. PC Home Center in New
Albany and PC Lumber &; Hardware in Sellersburg
have everything you need for the easiest and
most challenging projects. While that means you’ll
be laboring, you’ll get the added satisfaction of
kicking back with a cold one upon completion.
