INSTEAD OF FILLING our final issue of the
year with suggestions for resolutions and steps
to take in the New Year to create a better version
of you – as so many publications do – the Extol
Magazine Team wanted to deliver a bit of year-end
inspiration and tales of redemption.
Steve Kaufman’s feature about real estate guru
Paul Kiger is the anchor in this issue and a must-
read article that provides hope for anyone who
has ever lost their way.
Dr. Ali Haider, an ophthalmologist with offices
in Southern Indiana – including Madison – and
Louisville, shares his vision for helping people
in Third World countries regain their sight for a
mere $20 to $25 in a story by writer Laura Ross.
Dr. Haider is on a mission and also explains how
our greater community can assist.
Not every inspiring story has to be weighty.

her New Albany boutique. She’s a light in our
community and a champion for others.
The Final Say columnist Zach McCrite returns in
this issue, this time with a column about Indiana
University freshman Romeo Langford that could
pretty much make IU fans out of nearly everyone.
