Married for 2 years
Jon and I met when my friend dated his
friend for a minute and we both crashed their
second date. Those two didn’t have a third
and we are going on 17 years.
We both knew right away. Jon says as soon
as he laid eyes on me he knew, and that’s the
same for me. When it’s right, you just know.
Our marriage works because we really
like being together, we enjoy each other’s

company, we play to each other’s strengths
and support each other.
Getting ready to be married can be
overwhelming. Don’t stress over it. Enjoy
yourself and your soon-to-be spouse. I tried
to make it a point to remember and slow down
time and savor every second, but it still goes
