The loss of a loved one can be a very difficult time for everyone, including children. Knowing what to say to a child concerning death can be confusing and an unknown to many. The following information is from The University of South Dakota and answers some common questions about helping children deal with grief, exploring the different emotions they may be experiencing and explaining children’s understanding of death.
