Introducing…STAND, SCCUDD’s Youth Group

Schuyler County teens have formed STAND to implement the drug free prevention programs planned at the Lead and Seed training held in the spring. STAND, or Schuyler Teens against Alcohol, Nicotine, and other Drugs includes students who attended the training, as well as other teens from both Odessa Montour and Watkins Glen School Districts. The group hopes to implement one community drug prevention program this summer; Prevention Post Up and a school prevention strategy; Operation Bracelet in the fall. It has also been great to see several of our current or past 4-H youth participate in STAND; they continue to demonstrate the 4-H’s of the clover Head, Heart, Health and Hands in our community.

Please visit http://www.schuylercounty.us/SCCUDD for additional information on STAND, an overview of SCCUDD, and general information on what activities the Coalition is involved in.
