sculptures now reside in Mexican museums.
The Olmec also created jewelry, cave art and sculptures
made from wood, jade, terracotta, serpentine and basalt.
They also devised a complex astronomical calendar,
writing systems, rituals and a vast amount of traditions
and traits that influenced succedent civilizations such as
the Mayans and Aztecs.
