Exquisite Arts Magazine Vol 6- Summer Issue- July 2017 | Seite 19

A Another reason why I believe that traditional art is a dying form is due to the lack of materials required when it comes to making something via painting software on your computer. Being a painter is expensive, constantly having to restock on paints, canvases and brushes, unlike a digital painter who only needs to buy a drawing tablet and have some sort of painting software. I also see digital art as being easier to create in certain aspects, for example, you can press a single key and it undo’s mistakes you made like it never existed. Of course, with traditional art, in many cases if you make a mistake, there is nothing you can do about it and you have to improvise, which I believe is a great and creative strength to have that you can’t get through digital. What are your future artistic goals? Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? My current goal is to move within the next year to a large city in North Carolina that is popular in the arts to both continue to work on strengthening my abilities as an artist and to get started on my career by working in a gallery. After a couple years, I then plan to go to graduate school to obtain my M.F.A. You can reach me either by email or phone! Email: [email protected] Phone: (919) 628-9345
