William Barclay once said “There are two great days in a person’s life; the day we are born and the day we discover why.” These words resonate well with the feature story of the month. This article focuses of one of Southeastern’s most talented actors, Mr. Judah Fabre.

Judah is a 21-year-old art major, and he has been featured in plays such as “Distracted,” “Why Are You Nowhere,” and his latest role as John Proctor, in “The Crucible” play.

He decided to go into acting after an accident he sustained while playing football when he was younger.

Fabre described the injury as devastating and recalled having a conversation with God asking why he made him so unextraordinary? He said God responded by saying, “I use unextraordinary people to do my extraordinary things.”

Fabre spoke on his back story, stating that it started while playing football. He admits to not being good at it at first, but after some hard work and determination, he was able to improve his stats. Unfortunately, this is when his accident occurred, and he turned to acting.

“Acting is something that I was good at and I didn’t really need to force it, like with football,” said Fabre. Currently Fabre has chosen to take a sabbatical with acting to focus on his music. Fabre’s music is on SoundCloud, where his Ep, “Mountain Man” can be found.

Fabre is a Christian artist and is constantly working on new music. He said that the hardest part of creating music, was overcoming fears in presenting and performing it to other people, and them not perceiving the music the way it is intended to be, or that they may not like the music at all.
