TÖLT WITH GLACIER VIEW – SOUTH
T
his tour takes us to the beautiful Fljótshlíð and Landeyjar area in
South Iceland with fantastic view of the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and
Mýrdalsjökull. Here we are reminded of the major volcanic eruptions that
occurred in 2010 causing massive disruption to international air traffic.
Our trail leads us on soft riding paths, perfect for the special gait, tölt, with
unforgettable view in all direction. We ́re in the saddle for 4-7 hours (20-35 km)
daily and stay overnight at the private lodge of our host, enjoying excellent
food in the evening.
