Welcome to the second edition of ExploRIII! If you are new to the area or new to
our magazine, this is just one method
of connecting and communicating with
parents,
students
and
community
members.
ExploR-III is a joint effort between
Lincoln County R-III District and the Lincoln
County Journal. Through the support of
advertisers and the paper’s access
to printing, this high quality
magazine is produced WITHOUT
the use of tax dollars.
As the 26th largest district
with the largest middle school
in the State of Missouri,
there is certainly plenty
to “explore” about our
schools, our programs,
our services and most
importantly, our students.
I received feedback after
our first edition last year
and found what our readers
enjoyed the most! We decided
to keep some pieces, such as a
historical piece, as staples in
the magazine and expanded
our content. When you begin
to “explore” R-III, I think you’ll
find there’s much more to our
district than you may have
ever known. There’s always
something to learn about the
evolving world of education
and student learning. ExploRIII allows you, the reader, to
join the Lincoln County R-III
District’s journey to becoming
the PREMIER school district in
the State of Missouri.
I invite you to “explore” our
schools and all we have to offer
the community throughout the
year via our district website,
Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube
channel, or through my semimonthly column in the Lincoln
County Journal “Penny’s Two
Cents.”
Yours in education,
