MADEXXXX
project was knowing how they told their
stories and knowing what I needed to be
telling in each of my scenes. It’s really an
ensemble cast and my role really needs
other roles to be relevant.
MADE: What are three takeaways that you can
share that you’ve learned through the business
of Hollywood?
Perseverance, Preparation and Dedication. It
takes those ‘No’s’ to make you stronger. You
really also have to be prepared for every single
thing that you are doing. Nothing is handed to
you. It’s all hard work.
MADE: Who has been your biggest
influence in television and film?
To say one person would be so unfair,
but I will say I aspire to be like anyone
who is more successful than me at what
I want to be doing. That includes my
peers, anyone older or younger than me.
Anyone successfully working in this
industry, I aspire to be like them
in some way and I look to learn
something from each of them.
MADE: Lastly, as a working actor
today what would you tell your
younger self?
To my younger self I’d say it all
happens for a reason. You book
the jobs you’re supposed to book
and you don’t book the ones you
aren’t supposed to book. Don’t
worry about being a Disney star
because you’re going to have a
career that lasts a lifetime longer.
There’s no secret to success. It’s
just hard work.
