HOUSES & COTTAGES // THE SELECTION Werngochlyn Farm Llantillo Pertholey, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire NP7 8BH Four fully equipped cottages set around the farmyard sleeping four to six people. The cottages have all been converted from old stone farm buildings and are full of charm with stone walls and revealed beams. Each are centrallyheated and equipped with a conventional cooker, microwave and bath with shower. On-site, there is a heated indoor swimming pool (closed November to Easter) and a games room complete where you can enjoy a game of pool or table tennis. The owners also run a BHS Approved Riding School, with an indoor and outdoor riding area. There are plenty of animals on the farm, but wellbehaved dogs are welcome. VISIT THE WEBSITE Talhenbont Hall Criccieth, Gwynedd LL53 6SZ Built in 1607, Talhenbont Hall was once the home of William Vaughan and also used as a garrison for Cromwell’s Soldiers. Accommodation at Talhenbont Hall consists of five cottages, ‘Woodberry’ (pictured) has four bedrooms, all with crafted fitted furniture. There is certainly no shortage of oak within the cottage, with mellowed oak beams and a galleried staircase. French doors open out to the terrace which extends across the rear of the property, providing views of the wooded country estate.
