Lots to See And Do on Quadra Island
Located in the heart of the Discovery Islands, a small group
of islands located along the Inside Passage between Vancouver Island and mainland
British Columbia, Quadra Island is home to a plethora of opportunity ranging from
day hikes to wildlife viewing to outdoor recreation.
The Cape Mudge Lighthouse is a must-see
attraction on Quadra Island.

• Get up early and enjoy the
sunrise at Rebecca Spit. The views
are to die-for!
• Stroll through town for breakfast
or lunch at anyone of the fine
island cafés and restaurants.
• Bring a basket and fill it with the
many treasures you’ll find at the
Farmer’s Market every Saturday
from 10 am to 2 pm. Located beside the Quadra branch of Coastal
Community Credit Union.
• Bring a pair of binoculars and
soak up the wildlife while boating through the channels and
islands.
• Stop by for a wine tasting at the
SouthEnd Farm & Vineyards.
• Take a canoe ride through lake
chain circuit in Main Lake Park.
• Seek out the Cape Mudge Lighthouse and explore the beaches
along Discovery Passage. Look for
ancient petroglyphs at low tide
and passing marine wildlife.
• Pay a visit to the Nuyumbalees
Cultural Centre at Cape Mudge
Village to see the magnificent collection of First Nations’ treasures.

Quadra Golf Course.

great trails: along the shoreline at
Shellaligan Pass, to hill-top views
from Chinese Mountains, rushing

around Stramberg Lake.
