Off Grid Boating
FINDING SAFE AND FUN WAYS to recreate
in today’s world can be challenging.
Boats allow you to get away, experience
nature, and enjoy yourself.
Ranger Tugs, a local Washington
Manufacturer, builds easy to operate,
fun to drive, powerboats that are packed
with features that allow anyone to
cruise in comfort and safety. Models
range from twenty-three to forty-one
feet to meet a variety of needs and
budgets.
Every model has private sleeping
cabins, a fully functional galley for meal
prep, multiple seating areas, dining tables,
sinks and showers. Engine options
include inboard diesels on some models
and modern gas outboards on others.
Either way Ranger Tugs have the speed
and range you need to get and stay off
the grid for a while.
All models come with standard solar
panels except the R-23 (optional). Solar
panels, diesel heaters, inverters and
other onboard technology allows you to
cruise comfortably for extended periods.
You can spend the night under the stars
in a quiet anchorage while enjoying all
the comforts of home.
If you want to liven things up the
boats have marine stereos and interior
and exterior accent lights. LCD TV’s
allow you to have movie night aboard or
entertain the kids while you slip away
to the cockpit for some relaxation and
conversation.
Ample swim platforms with folding
swim ladders provide water access
and some outboard models have a
retractable tow pole for water skiing or
wakeboarding. Ranger Tugs are great for
fishing too or drop some prawn or crab
traps to catch your own dinner and stay
off the grid even longer!
Ranger Tugs are designed to be quality
boats that anyone can drive. Each
model has a full functioning Garmin
electronics package with an MFD chart
plotter and depth sounder for navigation
as well as a VHF radio. Radar,
autopilot, and other more advanced
electronics packages are available as
options.
Larger outboard models come with
bow thrusters (optional on the R-23)
and diesel models have both bow and
stern thrusters for easy docking and
maneuvering. Anyone can learn to run
their Ranger Tug in no time.
Many models can accommodate a
tender/dinghy for exploring and taking
trips to shore. The R-27 can be equipped
with Ranger Tugs’ patent pending Dinghy
Lift that stows an 8'5" 260 RIB (Rigid
Inflatable Boat) above the outboard.
If you want to get away and have a
good time with your family or have an
adventure with your significant other,
there is no better way to do it than to
get out on a boat.
Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands
are home to one of the world’s best
cruising grounds and there are hundreds
of islands to explore. Whether you want
to check out some of the local resorts
and marinas or hide away in a secluded
spot in the islands, a new Ranger Tug
can help you make it happen.
If you need to get back home for a
few days, or friends and family want
to meet up with you, Kenmore Air has
service to the islands and once you are
back on the boat you can get off the grid
and have some fun too!
