Congratulations to Doug
Miller for his photo of a western gull
settling on the water in Friday Harbor.
Doug is this issue’s winner. In addition to his photo being
featured in the magazine, he received a $500 flight vouch-
er from Kenmore Air.
Doug captured this image May 29, 2019 with a Canon
7D Mark II. He used a 100-200 lens at f-stop 60. When
asked about the image, Mark said, “I love photographing
the unparalleled beauty of nature.”
