Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs
If you ’ re looking for a great appetizer with a new twist try Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs . The filling is creamy and tastes great with the added smoked salmon . Extremely easy to make , I like to break these out at the holidays and watch them fly off the platter .
Place eggs in a pot , fill with water and add vinegar . Bring to boil . Let eggs sit in boiling water for 5 minutes . Remove from heat and place eggs under the faucet and run cold water for several minutes . Cut smoked salmon into small pieces . Set aside enough salmon to garnish finished eggs . Remove eggshells and cut hardboiled eggs in half lengthwise . Place yolks in large mixing bowl . Add all ingredients into mixing bowl and mix until it ’ s creamy . It ’ s best if you use an electric mixer . Fill pastry bag with egg yolk mixture . If you don ’ t have a pastry bag , use a heavy-duty plastic bag . Force yolk mixture into one corner . With a kitchen scissors cut opening the size of a nickel . Place hardened egg whites on a platter . Squeeze yolk mixture into cavities . Garnish each egg with extra smoked salmon . Chill for 30 minutes before serving .
