Dear Friends and Supporters ,
As we continue to develop Origin Park , I am constantly inspired by the incredible support from this community . Your engagement and belief in our vision have been the driving force behind our progress , and I ’ m excited to announce that we are entering a new phase of growth and transformation .
We ’ ve recently welcomed new team members , with plans to bring on even more , all of whom will play a crucial role in expanding our efforts . Alongside our growing team , construction is ramping up , including the build-out of our event center . This facility is a key step in securing the long-term financial sustainability of Origin Park and will be a cornerstone for future growth and community involvement .
In addition to these milestones , we ’ ve begun important work to improve the park ’ s ecosystems . Thanks to USDA funding , we ’ ve launched a three-year project to reduce and control invasive plant species in Buttonbush Woods . This effort is essential to restoring the natural biodiversity that is vital to the health of our park .
We are also making progress in acquiring additional properties within the park ’ s original footprint and remain committed to delivering improvements that enhance quality of life , restore nature , and reconnect people with the river .
The future of Origin Park is incredibly bright , and this is just the beginning . I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you as we create a lasting legacy for generations to come .
