SCHEDULE
The call to arms in Plaza del Mercado on Sunday 12th May begins at around 11pm. On Monday 13th May the show gets under way at around 17.00 in Port Sóller, with the last big battle starting at around 20.00 in Sóller’s main square.
The date is 11th May 1561 and in Sóller whispers of a muchfeared Moorish pirate attack are quickly spreading around town.
GETTING THERE
Thousands of people descend on Sóller to enjoy the festivities, and parking can be difficult to find. The Sóller train (www. trendesoller.com) runs from Palma to the town centre, and there are buses from Palma, Alcúdia and Pollença. A tram runs betweenSóller town and the port.
