As we welcome spring and look forward to summer , we ’ re reminded that the changing of the seasons brings more than just beautiful weather – it inspires growth and renewal , new opportunities and adventures .
In this issue of Explore Corsicana , we ’ ll introduce you to a young couple who recently relocated to the area to craft their future through sustainable living . Along with other members of their family , they seek to make a new life in Navarro County , surrounded by the beauty of nature and the endless possibilities it provides .
We also take a look into the past , exploring the history of Jewish settlers who arrived in Corsicana more than a century ago , and whose contributions to the community can still be seen today .

The Texas Veterans Parade marches again May 21 , fulfilling its mission to reestablish a tradition dating back more than 100 years , when the 1918 World War I Armistice Parade and 1945 World War II Victory Parade drew thousands of Texans to downtown Corsicana .
