As a top high-fashion model , Ms . Martin has appeared in dozens of designer shows , including : Christian Dior , Balenciaga , James Galanos , Kritzia , Marc Bohan , Yves Saint Laurent , Armani , Bob Mackie , Oscar De LaRenta , Karl Lagerfeld , Chanel , Donna Karan , Pauline Trigere , Todd Oldman , Fendi Furs , Valentino and Givenchy .
In the fashion industry , Ms . Martin was named Regional Fashion Manager of Neiman Marcus stores where her responsibilities included serving as liaison with the Chicago fashion press , supervising all major f ashion events in a three-store area and presenting fashion clinics to community and civic groups .
Good news , to all the glamorous fashionistas out there . We get to keep our jeans for another season ! Now , I don ’ t mean , those ripped up jeans , with knees out , a clever ragged cut-out on the lower leg , or just ripped up for the heck of it – we are talking about your perfectly fitted straight leg , or your flared leg jeans you love .
It ’ s just time to consider what is trending out there , and it is pretty exciting . What we are seeing on the runways , spoke loud and clear : the roomier , the better . I checked out Who What Wear website and we have officially hit peak baggy . If there is one thing to take away regarding pants , it ’ s that they are getting more and more relaxed . You will see suit trousers , leather pants or even denim ; designs just telling us to relax in our new pant wardrobe .
Pants are becoming “ it ” for 2022 – from the new way to wear pantsuits , with their wider and roomie legs , worn with frilly midriff or a satin blouse , narrow leather belt , under a “ relaxed ” jacket ; oh , and by the way , elevated track pants ( they ’ re way cooler than sweats ).
