Next Steps
Mac and Yessika are excited about the opportunities available to them here . One of their biggest passions is to feed their family and as much of the community as possible . They also want to host cooking classes and help spread the word that food is life and that the foods we eat can often lead to poor health .
Besides farm related goals , Yessika wants to continue her creative pursuits in Corsicana - whether in a rented studio downtown or in another cob structure built on the farm . “ I ’ d like a space where people can come shop , see what I ’ ve collected and where I make things , and draw inspiration ,” she said .
She also wants to learn block printing and silversmithing .
